The Fourth of July is a time for celebration, and what better way to get the whole family involved than through festive crafts? Here are three patriotic projects that are fun for all ages.


1. Patriotic Paper Plate Flag

  1. Paint alternating red stripes across the paper plate.

  2. Paint a blue square in the top left corner.

  3. Once dry, add white stars to the blue area.

  4. Display your patriotic plate as decoration.​

2. Firework Salt Painting

Description: Create a colorful firework display using salt and watercolors.​

Materials:

  • Black construction paper

  • Glue

  • Salt

  • Watercolor paints

  • Paintbrushes​


Instructions:

  1. Draw firework designs on the black paper using glue.

  2. Sprinkle salt over the glue and shake off the excess.

  3. Dip a paintbrush in watercolor and gently touch the salt designs, allowing the color to spread.
