How to Create a Family Bucket List Everyone Actually Wants to Do
Family bucket lists sound great.
Until one person wants to go hiking, another wants an amusement park, and somebody else just wants to stay home and play video games.
The solution is simple:
Let everyone contribute.
Sit down together and have each family member write down five things they would love to do.
They can be big:
Visit Hawaii
See the Grand Canyon
Take a cruise
Visit another country
Or small:
Try a new ice cream shop
Sleep in a tent
Watch a sunrise
Visit a water park
Make homemade pizza
Then combine everyone's ideas into one family list.
You can even divide it into categories:
Big Adventures ~ Trips that take planning and saving.
Weekend Adventures ~ Activities you could do within a few hours of home.
Easy Adventures ~Things you can do almost anytime.
The goal isn't to finish the list as quickly as possible.
The list gives your family something to look forward to together.
And sometimes the smallest items become the memories everyone talks about the most.
